Welcome to Weekend Writing Warriors / Snippet Sunday! I made it to everyone’s blog on the linky list, however, I was having the worst time leaving comments on some. I don’t know what was going on, I was logged into WP too. So, just know I read all of your snippets, if I didn’t leave a comment. Sorry.
Continuing on where we left off last week… Dr. Huxley’s last line was “You’ve ruffled a lot of feathers around here.” First line is Cartwright’s response…
“You’ve ruffled some feathers around here, too–”
“Only when I have to. Work on all that and maybe they won’t be so handsy. And maybe work towards a room with a view. You’re lucky you’re here and not on death row at Rikers.”
“Moron obviously didn’t share with you how dangerous it is to take me out of my cell.”
“He did. I chose not to listen. I won’t treat you from your cell door.” I looked into his dark eyes, “I’m not afraid of you.”
Thanks for reading! You can read more great authors here and here!
Enjoy your Sunday!

Brave words . . . but are they foolish, too? I’m totally intrigued with this!
Oh he’ll take that as a challenge, I’m sure. Interesrting snippet!
I wonder how he’ll respond to that. She’s as stubborn as he is, but I wonder if she’s as dangerous? Love the excerpt!
Oy! But SHOULD she be afraid of him??? Great suspense!
Is she being foolish or what??? I’m fearing for her safety.
Oh, i hope the words won’t come back to bite her.
